Dreadful news about the child. A little salt on the ice or even sand could have prevented that from happening.

We talked a little about this in an earlier post of yours, about snow removal and such. I can understand that it wouldn't be in place since snow like this is nto the norm there, but it seems so odd to have everything screech to a halt for such a long time. Do they even sell rock salt in bags there?

The lighter class load sounds like it was a good thing, though!
