Mum

Mum died at 11am this morning. The decline was rapid. Last week we were talking about getting her home to die, by Thursday we knew we wouldn't disturb her.

She was a strong-minded woman and had made lists of things to do and bequests to individuals. Dad died on 13th March last year. It's the end of an era.

Thanks, friend :) All I need is some patience and I'll come round. Too much to think about so I'm hardly at the computer this week. I don't have any spare energy beyond what has to be done. I'll pick up soon :)

I was just thinking you must have a lot going on - it's the sort of thing one tends to forget about bereavement, that it demands a lot of practical time/thought/action just when we have so little... <3
