Easter break, at last!

I don't know if it's an age thing or because work has been stressful since the first day last September but yesterday I felt ready for a 24 hour sleep to recharge the batteries. We finished work earlier than usual so I was home two hours before the normal time. I had a cup of tea then succumbed to the urge. I slept for three hours and woke tremendously refreshed--go figure, three hours was enough?

At 1 am, I went to bed again and woke again at 7.30am full of the joys of Spring! Not an age thing, then, thank the heavens. :)

It's a beautiful day today: cold but bright.

I can't recall a time in my life I could wake up at 7:30am and feel joy of any kind...

Then again, this is probably because of things like it being 5am right now and me not having even slept yet.
