1. You did me the honour of friending me soon after I started my LJ. I craved this contact because of your love of animals and plants, common sense, (dare I say, age), and of course because of...
2. VC!! I had admired your carefully crafted prose for longer than I care to remember. Colours? I dare say, they change with the seasons. Currently, blues and greens.

4. ...that hysterically funny Christmas phonecall when we rabbited on for an hour about anything and everything. I don't think either of us paused for breath!

6. There isn't one of your userpics that isn't a favourite, particularly your VC ones. I love the Hat in all its various guises and the Homosexual Agenda always makes me smile, but one does intrigue me. I don't recall you ever using it but I'd love to know where the original pic came from: Louis and oil lamp. Is it from the film?

1. Well, this is an old story now...the oldest because if not for you I wouldn't have started my LJ. You were kind enough to friend me, the first, I think, so I friended you back.
2. Long live 'Elitist'! VC fandom of course. Music has to be Placebo and colour is green!
3. You are a complex person. You fascinate me. I want to know what you do with your life. And you love Louis!
4. Well, that has to be your welcome into LJ land. I remember Miserable Memphis. You survived that, you can survive anything!
5. There is an obvious question...but the answer doesn't really matter. Perhaps I should ask a difficult one. What do you see yourself doing after uni is over?

What do you see yourself doing after uni is over?


I want to try to go abroad and teach ESL for a year or two...not sure where, but I need abroad experience, preferably living AND working, to get into the grad program I want. That will be at Georgetown (in Washington DC) if all goes well...where I'll be getting my masters in foreign service, and then off to join the state department and work in an embassy somewhere!

...Who knows if all that will actually happen, but that's the plan. :)

Well, 'Godfather' led me to one idea, and I've taught boys with your name spelt your way BUT your voice (delicious accent btw) is light. And then someone in 'Elitist' posted that film of you and your friends, with the Louis and Lestat puppets, and I learned that Shawn could be a female name and your own photos indicate this BUT when I was learning about you I looked through your older LJ posts where you have answered memes in an ambiguous way. And when you were in Memphis you shared with a bloke...so there we have it: confusion but in a nice way. To paraphrase Sir Winston (about Russia) you are 'a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma'! And to be honest, I don't care what the answer is :) I'm just glad to be your Mumsy!
