Jenn's Final Exhibition (very proud Mum)

Here are the photos of Jenn's work in the Final Exhibition. Of course, we think her work was the best on show and are very proud of her,

The theme she has used is that no-one presents an honest face to the world, whether it's a woman using make-up or a ceremonial mask used in a ritual.

Have a look at the slideshow but:
please be aware that Jenn has used animal parts in the construction of her masks: bones, fur, teeth, feathers, wings etc. She obtained all of these from reputable sources which deal with animals that have died from natural causes (or roadkill) or she found the dead animals when out walking.

There was lots of interest in her work. Here's hoping she gets a job soon.

Those look almost how I pictured they would when you told me what she was doing! Very interesting, and I'm glad it went over well for her <3

Fabulous, fabulous work! I love the Medicine Man the best but all of the pieces are wonderful. Please convey my admiration and congratulations to Jenn on her amazing talent.

Having an interest in the natural world, I find and keep bones, feather, owl pellets and the like. I recently found half a beaver skull nd had to boil it to clean it when Debra wasn't home---it sort of skeeves her!
