Geocities closing on October 26 2009

This is sad because there are many old sites dedicated to VC on Geocities.

If you are the owner of such a site there are instructions for downloading your work or transferring it elsewhere.

I have 40-50 such sites in my Favourites list. Some are beautifully designed, others contain old fanfics. I shall miss them.

That's sad. I don't know whether I've seen any of it, I presume I have, but it would mean that even more VC related stuff will disappear. While already so much has been lost...

That is sad ... you just can't find a good VC website anymore, and when all the older stuff vanishes we'll be drowning in Twilight. *shout out to the suicidal of the audience*
