Wowie, and I thought getting a state ID was inconvenient. I'd never be able to get one for the UK. How much does a passport cost out there? Here it's like $100+ or something, when a state ID is anywhere between $10-$40.
And wtf those requirements are fucking -ist! What about people whose parents are dead? What about people who are estranged because, you know, their parents tried to kill them? What about parents who are insane? Or divorced? What if you lost or had your BC withheld by your parents? The hell are you supposed to do, in other words, if contacting your family is out of the question?
