Avatar in 3D
Dec. 27th, 2009 10:45 pmWOW!!!!
Am now spoiled for every other 2D film I see.
Even with the 3D glasses (polarised, not red/green) perched awkwardly in front of my own distance ones, I sat through the entire film, mesmerised for nearly three hours. I want to see it again! Gobsmacked is putting it mildly.
And if you've seen it, you'll understand the colour scheme.

Date: 2009-12-28 12:18 am (UTC)DO make sure you get there early so that you can get a seat half-way down in the middle. We arrived too late for the 12.20 showing but decided to buy the tickets for the 3.50 while we there. In our cinema, that meant that we could book our seats and had the best view, straight on not at an angle. It came out on Dec 17th here and has been playing to packed houses ever since.
I fear the DVD will be the old red/green format (Coraline was) so see it now while you can.
