Father's Day
Jun. 20th, 2010 06:45 pmTook Dad (and Mum) to the local garden centre so he could spend his Christmas Gardening Vouchers. Had a lovely meal there then went round loading three trolleys with plants. Dad came back with plenty of aquatics for the pond he dug last year (at the age of 80!). We came back with £££££££'s worth of brightly coloured plants for the masses of empty tubs, barrels, baskets and pots we have accumulated.
Glorious bright blue sky with some high white clouds, not too hot.
For those who have an interest in this---25 teaching days to go! If today is an example of what it will be like, I will have such retirement fun.
