The milkman's just delivered!

One of them started delivering at 11pm last night and his Dad started at 5am this morning. They're in a pickup with crates and shovels in the back, instead of the usual electric milkfloat.

Hurray for the British milkman!

YAY! I wish someone would deliver milk to my house--we go through about two gallons a week, Jack and I! I feel like there's a sexual innuendo in there somewhere, but I can't quite find it.

And he delivers fruit juices of all types, pop (soda) of all flavours, cream of all thicknesses and sizes, yoghurts of all types and flavours, eggs and potatoes. He delivers every day except Sundays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. The Christmas order has already been placed and will arrive next Friday, come blizzards or fireballs. Yes, we're spoiled.

Sir, I am honoured! What an unexpected and delightful Christmas gift to receive your comment. I would eschew milk, even tea (and that would be truly a sacrifice), to spend a winter's evening in your company. I will think of you and yours on Wednesday morning as I watch the sunrise over the snow-laden fields. Such a shame, you cannot witness it for yourself. I promise a photo if the sky is clear.

The solistice, yes. I'm sure it will be lovely. Since you mention time in my company you beg me for further self promotion. Along with IR2 coming back to life, we're in the process of reincarnating the whole website. A new domain should be up and running by Jan 1, and in the meantime, the forum is open for business.
