mumsisdaughterWow! The postman has just dropped two Christmas cards through the letterbox--from America! It's always exciting to see foreign stamps on an envelope but two at once!

gairid for the sparkly card, the message and the contents. I'm so thrilled to have my own piccie of 1127! Snail mail might be slow but surer than the phone, it seems. Going out today with the kids to Spaceport (the other side of the Mersey from Liverpool) to see the Doctor Who Exhibition. We'll probably take the ferry (cue Gerry and the Pacemakers) so I've postponed washing my hair as the wind on deck will ruin it anyway.
